1925 Series III Buescher Tru Tone. White Roo Pads. Full Mechanical Restoration.
This 90 year old horn has received a full mechanical restoration from Carlo Cennamo at Cennamo Woodwinds. These horns are beautiful, play excellently, and are great pieces of American musical history. I have heard it said that these horns sound like parlor instruments. I would have to disagree. You could make any horn sound like a parlor instrument with the appropriately styled mouthpiece; an extremely close tipped large chambered mouthpiece will do that. This horn, even with only a medium tip, large chambered mouthpiece can really blast, or be diaphanous and lyrical. They are truly versatile. And it's from 1925! What kind of car did the first owner of this horn drive? Check out the pictures, they tell a great story of this horns rebirth. So cool!
