1947 King Zephyr Tenor. Here is another beautiful example of the all American saxophone. You don't see too many of these around and it's a shame because they are simply wonderful players. They feel great under the fingers and pack a beautiful punch into their tone. This horn was a real wreck when it came in. The polishing of this silver plate alone took almost two days, and the key fitting was very time consuming. And what a pay off!
This horn received white Grey Joey pads and extra large domed resonators.
